2-Day Trip to UNESCO World Heritage - Pamukkale from Side - Vigo tours
Thermal waters in Pamukkale are healing.
As a wonder of nature, Pamukkale is worth a visit. The region is one of the places frequented by people for thermal water treatment.
As an UNESCO World Heritage site Pamukkale / Hierapolis is considered one of the oldest thermal cities in the world.
An unforgettable journey to the fascinating white paradise and land of curative colour waters!
The Egyptian queen Cleopatra once visited the limestone terraces of Hierapolis for its healing and restorative properties. Come follow in Cleopatra's royal footsteps and test the thermal waters yourself on this trip to UNESCO World Heritage Site Pamukkale / Hierapolis.
On the way to Pamukkale, we will pass the Korkuteli Township, famous for being the only stretch of Anatolian land unconquerable by Alexander the Great!
When we arrive at Pamukkale you can visit the natural phenomenon the White Travertines. You will also encounter a number of other famous sites and thermal pools around the Pamukkale area including the Antique City Hierapolis, Necropolis, the Cleopatra Pool and Red Water. You will have extra time to relax and enjoy the surroundings, spending the night in a hotel.
2nd day, Before returning, visit a hand-woven carpet and rug production centre and learn about traditional Turkish hand-weaving art.

What to Remember
In order to offer reasonable tour price we organize the trip together with another local agency.
There are shopping breaks by handicraft productions centres during this tour operated.
The itineraries might be altered slightly by the guide for seasonal or other reasons. Visits to some museums or ancient ruins may not be possible due to renovation work. In the very hot months of July and August, breaks and visits to open-air museums and ancient ruins may be shorter than planned.
The prices in the Hotel, outside market and restaurants for drinks and food on the way and in Pamukkale might be more expensive than expected.
Lunch is not included in the price.

Der Reiseleiter war sehr nett, wenn auch fast nur englischsprachig. Der Fahrer selbst sprach nur türkisch. Der Bus war sehr klein und eng. Hinten schwitzten die Gäste, mit der Klimaanlage war es vorne kalt.
Leider konnten mein Freund und ich auch weder hin noch zurück zusammen sitzen.
Die Fahrt war sehr lang, der Reiseleiter hat aber viel erzählt und wir haben viele Pausen gemacht. Nach ca 5 stunden waren wir dann am Ziel. Pamukkale war mega. Richtig schön und der Eintritt von 11 Euro hat sich gelohnt. Wir hatten 4 stunden dort zur freien Verfügung, die man auch auf jeden fall benötigt. Dann sind wir ins Uyum Hotel. Für ein 3 Sterne Haus an sich okay. Jedoch kostete jedes Getränk, selbst Wasser, extra. Das war weniger positiv. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Strasse und nachts führen dort immer noch Autos und LKWs. Auch die Klimaanlage war sehr laut. Thermalbad auf Rückweg haben wir nicht genutzt, zu teuer und unhygienisch. Wasserfall in Antalya war nicht aktiv. Insgesamt war es gut.

Aus einer Anfahrt von 4 Stunden wurden 8h. Es wurde mehrmals auf der Hin- und Rückfahrt an versch. Produktionsstätten (Leder inkl Modenschau, Schmuck, Teppiche etc) angehalten und sehr teure Produkte zu verkaufen. Auch die Mittagspause war fix in einem bestimmten Restaurant wo alle Touribusse anhalten und auch keine anderen Essensmöglichkeiten offen standen. Also musste man notgedrungen 10,- p.P. auf Hin- und Rückfahrt für ein Buffet zahlen. Was bei einer Familie schon mal schnell in 80 EUR Extrakosten enden kann. Das Hotel für die Übrnachtung war schön, Pool iO, Getränke auch beim Essen im Hotel exklusive, gibt aber draußen einen Laden wo man günstig Getränke kaufen kann. Die heiße Quelle (Red Spring) war im Angebot gar nicht erwähnt, wurde aber für 10 EUR pP angeboten und wenn man nicht 1,5 Stunden auf alle anderen warten wollte, wurde auch dies noch bezahlt.
Pamukkale selbst war schön anzusehen, wir hatten mit 4 Stunden auch genügend Zeit.

Die Reise war super, ausser das Hotel war nicht ok. Es war nicht so sauber ,es war einiges kaputt und Schimmel. Das Essen war gut.

Wir waren eine zusammengewürfelte Truppe...deshalb fand die Tour - statt in deutsch - nur in russischer und englischer Sprache statt. Zusätzlich dabei war noch ein nur französisch sprechendes Paar. Der Reiseleiter hat alles super gemanagt!!! Mir hat die Tour sehr gut gefallen ! Die Abholung erfolgte pünktlich.

Die 2 Tage waren auf jeden Fall angemessen, da die Fahrtzeit vom Side aus, doch recht lang war (ca. 5 Std). Leider waren recht viele Verkaufsveranstaltungen eingeplant. Vorallem am zweiten Tag.
Beim Reiseleiter kann man für die zwei Tage jeweils Mittagessen und Eintritte dazubuchen. Das Essen kann ich nicht empfehlen. Das Kleopatrabad ist jedoch traumhaft schön!
