[Cappadocia trip is a very costly tour as a tour operation. Our tour operation concept is to keep the tour participation fee low and to earn from the extras during the tour. Our most important extra income is the hot air balloon tour in Cappadocia (in case of reservation). For this reason, it is not accepted by us that you join a tour with us and book a balloon from another company in Cappadocia. All Cappadocia tours from the Antalya region (Side, Kemer, Alanya, Antalya and Belek) are the same. Cappadocia Balloon tour reservations can be made through our tour guide on the first day of the tour.]
The most picturesque villages of the region, in Uçhisar and Ortahisar, see the huge rocks riddled with cave houses. The churches that you see while visiting the Göreme Open Air Museum force you to dream about the religious wars of centuries ago. Imaginary imagery in Kızılçukur, especially in the sunset, painting the whole valley to red gives you the feeling that you have gone to another planet. It is exciting to watch the friendship established by Avanos town over the river Kızılırmak centuries ago.

Cappadocia, in other words Katpatuka means Land of Beautiful Horses.
Set deep in the heart of central Anatolia, the magical region is underlain by sedimentary rocks formed in lakes and streams and by ignimbrite deposits that erupted from ancient volcanoes approximately 3 to 9 million years ago.
The fairy rocks of Cappadocia near Göreme eroded into hundreds of spectacular pillars and minaret-like forms. Carved into houses, churches and monasteries by the people of the villages at the heart of the Cappadocia region the soft rock volcanic deposits are a marvel to observe.
This tour will bring you to the caravanserai built on the ancient trade routes as well as to the underground city of Saratli Kirkgöz. Spend a day exploring the rock houses at Uchisar castle and pigeon valley, which is full of dovecotes. See Cavusin Village rock houses and rock church and pay a visit to an onyx workshop and handicraft carpet production centre.
This is a wonderful trip with full of beautiful scenery and rich in history and culture which you will always remember for the rest of your life.
Day 1: Drive to Cappadocia
Hotel pick-up followed by transfer to Taurus Mountains in the Alpine belt of Central Anatolia. About 1,5 hour after breakfast you will visit the Mevlana Museum at Konya City. Next stop is the Caravanserai and the underground city of Saratli Kirkgöz. Arrive in Cappadocia and check into hotel for the evening.
Day 2: Full day tour in Cappadocia
Spend the day exploring Cappadocia and the Devrent Valley region. The day includes visits to the Pasabag Valley, Göreme Valley and town of Göreme, a beautiful town nestled among the fairy chimneys. After lunch travel to Cavusin Village. In the evening there is the optional extra of a whirling dervish show and Turkish Nights show.
Day 3: Return home
Return to the coast, we will pause at the town of Avanos, famous for its earthenware pottery. See Kizilirmak River, the longest river of Turkey (1355 km). We will stop at a pottery centre and visit the "3 Beauties" fairy chimneys. Enjoy a lunch break at Aksaray on the famous Silk Road trade route.

What to Remember
In order to offer you a reasonable tour price:
3-day Cappadocia tour is operated in conjunction with another local agency.
The itineraries could be modified a little by the overview for seasonal or various other reasons. Sees to some museums or ancient ruins may not be feasible because of improvement job. In the really warm months of July and August, brows through and also breaks to old ruins and also outdoor museums may be shorter than intended.
Prices of tour are based on a double room, sharing accommodation. Single supplements are available for those not accompanied by a partner.
There are some shopping breaks by the handicraft production places at this tour.

0 Sterne für den Ablauf des 2 Tages, weil:
- es wurde uns das Hotel Concept Stone in Avanos bestätigt, die Übernachtung (zwar eine gute) hat es
aber in Pampa gegeben - im Hotel Mustafa am Rande von Ürgüp
- keine Besichtigung von der Stadt Göreme, wie in der Werbung angegeben, sondern ab 16 Uhr Freizeit
in der Pampa im Hotel Mustafa
- in der Werbung ist gestanden "Nachdem Mittagessen gibt es Fahrt zum Cavusin Dorf", das Dorf wurde
jedoch nicht angefahren

Wenn man von zwei Typen von Touristen ausgeht, dann könnte man folgende festhalten:
Typ A
Man möchte Shoppen und alles drumherum ist unwichtig. Viele schöne regionale Feinheiten, vom handgearbeitetem Keramik oder Schmuck bis hin zu Lederartikeln ist absolut alles vorhanden. Der Vollständigkeit halber sei erwähnt, dass die Shopping-Touren an genau ausgewählten "Sponsoren" führen. Zum Zeitpunkt der Reise konnte man die Lederartikel überall in der Türkei zum günstigeren Preis finden, so bspw. in Alanya. Grund sind z.T. politische Unruhen ergo kann mit Händlern gefeilscht werden. Der Feilsch-Kampf lohnt sich für Käufer. So wird aus einer 400 Euro Jacke gleich 280 Euro.
Typ B
Man ist interessiert an Kultur und Historie. Leider kam davon nicht viel in der Tour zum Vorschein. Es empfiehlt sich vorab selbst zu informieren. Mit ausreichender Recherche kann man die besuchten Orte zumindest kulturell und historisch zuordnen.

Mycket valuta för pengarna, upplevde mycket. Dock mycket tidiga morgnar. Mycket trevliga medresenärer, blev vän med många. Guiden var ok, tjatade dock för mycket om att vara på betalda aktiviteter. För mycket pengar prat. Allt ingick inte som det stod vid köpet, både underjordiska staden och open air museum var avgiftsbelagda. Bra hotell, överlag mycket värde för pengarna. Det skulle som sagt om uppskattas om guiden respekterade de resandes vilja ifall de vill vara med på olika aktiviteter. ..

Though it is a very long bus ride, it is definitely worth the tiredness. They have picked me up from the hotel with a comfortable minibus. Both the guide and the driver (Erhan and Gökhan) were super polite and well-prepared. The accomodation at the Stone Concept Hotel in Kapadokkya was very good, too. The rooms are tidy and stilosh, there is swimming pool and Wifi, the food is great, too. The only annpying thing regarding the meals is that drinks are not (even water) included. We have seen incredible views. I have also taken the hot air balloon ridr which is expensive but a lifetime experience. I was afrqid first that 3 days from the 1 week holiday would be too much...expecially as a lone traveller. But it was worth both the expense and the time. And the international group that fathered was also fun to be with. The tourism agwncy i got intk contact with with my questions was also helpful, fast and polite.

Wir wurden pünktlich vom Hotel abgeholt, eine sehr lange Busfahrt, doch durch den kompetenten deutschsprachigen Reiseleiter ( Herr Akman )war die Fahrt sehr informativ und angenehm kurzweilig.Viele Kaffee und Teepausen sodas wir entspannt am Ziel ankamen. Das Übernachtungshotel war gut, wir haben sehr viel gezeigt bekommen, Kultur,Shopping, Kulinarisches und Musik alles inklusive.Die Heissluftballonfahrt war traumhaft, alles sehr gut organisiert,( die sollte wirklich jeder mitmachen, in einer so ruhigen angenehmen Fahrt über Kappadokien fühlt man sich wie im Traum ) der Ausblick ist gigantisch, Bilder die man nicht vergessen wird.Unter anderem ist der Stand im Korb sehr sehr sicher.Der Abschluß mit einem Türkischen Kulturabend in einer der vielen Tupfsteingrotten mit Hochzeitstanz Bauchtanz Kultur und Kulinarischem hat alles wunderbar abgerundet.Kappadokien ist wirklich eine Reise wert.

Gute Ausflug trotz lange Fahrt. Es gab Zeitweise Schnee und kalt. Der Reiseführer hat viel erzählt,Er hat nur uns beleidigt ,als wir ihn über das Hotel kritisiert haben. Das war schade.

Wir haben die tolle Landschaft Kappakodiens sehr genossen und viele neue Eindrücke mit nach Hause genommen. Gute Reiseleitung, älters aber sauberes Hotel mit guter Verpflegung. Leider wurden in der kurzen Zeit vier Handwerksbetriebe mit Verkaufveranstaltungen besichtigt. Ingesamt aber eine schöne Reise.

Kappadokien ist sehenswert, aber jeder der schon mal in der Türkei war kennt das Spiel, Teppich, Schmuck, Leder und Töpfer sind Inklusiv. Das muss nicht sein. Es gibt Anbieter vor Ort die das wissen und die Tour ohne Verkaufsveranstaltung durchführen, fürs gleiche Geld. Eine Massenabfertigung durch den Reiseleiter der nur auf sein Profit und Abzocke aus ist. Wer Stress im Urlaub möchte ist bei Vigotours gut aufgehoben.
