Yanartas (Chimaera) is called as eternal fire that the flames burn right on the rocks without any apparent fuel or heat source. The region is situated on a track famous for hiking lovers on the amazing Lycian Ways. The flames of Yanartas rising through the rocks have been burning for 1000 years. Yanartaş, also known as Eternal Fire, has a natural source of fire and is one of the miraculous natural beauties of Anatolia. Yanartas is located in the Beydağları National Park, at the height of 230 meters above sea level in Çıralı and Olympos hills. The flames from Chimaera can be seen from the sea. It was considered as a lighthouse by sailors in ancient times.

Arriving in Olympos beach and free time for swimming at wonderful Olympos.
Visiting of Olympos ancient city and walking through the ruins.
Driving to Chimaera. Ascent walking takes about 30 minutes to Chimaera.
