What on this tour: A full magical day at the Taurus Mountains near Side!

A great day at the Taurus Mountains with visiting of Golden Cradle cavern at the National park and Taurus Mountains villages! You will experience a very different part of Side. The view on the way and as well as the very special mountain houses will make you impressed. You will feel of being at untouched peaceful place on earth!

For the tour you will be picked up directly from your hotel. Then we drive to the Taurus Mountains at about 900 meters. Our first visit is the village Avasun, also called Laurel village. Afterwards we drive up to 1200 meters. From there we have a very nice view on the Green Canyon, the Green Lake, Manavgat and Side etc. Then we come to the second village called Ürünlü.

These villages are famous for their button houses. We break at a typical village cafeteria. From there we drive to the national park of Ürünlü. There is the famous cavern the Golden Cradle. And inside is the largest subterranean sea of ​​Turkey. There we make a small boat trip for about 25 minutes. Afterwards we go to the richest village called Ormana. There we get the delicous lunch in a very nice restaurant. At the Lunch: you can get either chicken fillet or trout tucked in a leaf of wine and baked in the Ottoman clay pot. Or Turkish pizza.

After lunch we drive to the last village called the deserted village Sarı Hacılar köyü. We visit there a 650 year old Ottoman mosque.  We also make a small tour of the abandoned village and we see the Silk Road.

And from there back to the hotels.

During the winter season (November 1 - April 15) Altınbeşik cave is full of water and is closed to visits.
